Azure Event Grid
Azure Event Grid provides support to automate tasks as well. Azure Event Grid offers an Azure Automation Subscriber that can act upon different events that are sent to Azure Event Grid. So when an Azure resource is created, it can call an Automation Runbook to automatically perform a sequence of steps. For instance, when a virtual machine is created in Azure, it can call an Automation runbook via Event Grid to create a schedule for starting and stopping virtual machines at a certain time.
