StorSimple Virtual Array
The StorSimple Virtual Array runs on your existing hypervisor infrastructure on your on-premises environment. It manages the storage across the on-premises environment and Azure Cloud Storage. It also provides cloud backup, fast restore, disaster recovery features, and item-level recovery. It supports Hyper-V 2008 R2 and higher and VMWare 5.5 and higher.
The StorSimple Virtual Array is the most cost-effective StorSimple solution because it offers a download that can be installed on a virtual machine on Hyper-V or VMWare inside your data center or office. It can then be configured as an iSCSI server (SAN) or a file server (NAS). It can be managed from the StorSimple Manager service inside the Azure Portal:
