Research Challenges
Virtually every aspect of autonomic computing offers significant research challenges. The life cycle of an individual autonomic element or of a relationship among autonomic elements reveals several challenges. Others arise in the context of the system as a whole, and still more become apparent at the interface between humans and autonomic systems. Briefly, here are some of these issues.
