Currently, MQTT does not support the reject operations when receiving cloud-to-device messages. If your scenarios need to handle such a rejection case, then you need to consider using direct methods.

A Direct method can be invoked on the Device side, it will perform the required action. in order to do so, we need to make sure that device understand and is capable of executing directing Methods.
