How it works...
The IP filter rule is applied at the IoT Hub service level. The rule office that we created in the preceding steps will apply to all connections from devices and backend IoT applications.
When an IP address in the rejected list tries to connect, the IoT Hub throws a 401 unauthorized code exception.
If you have multiple rules specified, they get applied in the order it gets listed in the grid.
You can change the rules order in which you would like to execute for communicating devices or backend services.
