This demo is to show how a Raspberry Pi connected with a sensor is used to help implement a smart city solution. The device sends data for a parking slot and using a mobile or web interface, users can see the availability or navigation to the right place. Using some advance analytics, like predictive analytics, can help users to plan their visit.
The advantages of this solution are that it reduce the fuel consumption, creates a controlled traffic environment, and optimizes spaces for parking. It can be implemented at a university campus or offices, shopping centers, and so on.
