How it works...
We have created the following in this specific order:
- A streaming dataset in the Power BI application.
- A dashboard and new tile that can display the values available in the streaming dataset.
- A new Azure Function that runs an Application Insights Analytics query and feeds data to Power BI using the push URL of the dataset.
- Once everything is done, we can view the real-time data in the Power BI's tile on the dashboard.
