境界検査関数の配列サイズを指定する引数は型

の値より大きい値を代入できない。

きい配列長引数を境界検査関数に渡すとエラーになる。この制約で、負数を符号なし型に
変換して生じる、非常に大きな正数へ変換された結果によるエラーを検出できる。
セキュア関数は境界検査の他にも検査を行う。例えば、引数として渡されたポインタが
ナルでないか検査する。関数実行が成功するために満たされねばならない全条件を関数の
実行時制約と呼ぶ。
セキュア関数の実行時制約が破られると転送先オブジェクトは変更されず、関数は実行
時制約ハンドラを呼び出し、戻り値とエラーメッセージを渡す。ハンドラは、
abort()
を呼
び出してプログラムを終了させることも、呼び出したセキュア関数に返ることもできる。プ
ログラムはデフォルト実行時制約ハンドラを、関数
set_constraint_handler_s()
を呼び出
