setlocale()
は現在のロケールを問い合わせたり設定することができる。ロケール
を構成する情報はカテゴリに分かれており、個別に取得設定できる。次の整数マクロがカ

関数
setlocale()
はこれらのマクロの1つを第1引数にとり、対応するロケールカテゴリ
を処理する。マクロの意味は18章の
setlocale()
関数の項目で記述する。実装は、名前が
LC_
で始まり大文字の続く追加マクロを定義できる。
ヘッダlocale.hで宣言される第2の関数は
localeconv()
で、型
struct lconv
の構造体の
メンバに現在のロケールでの表記についての情報を与える。
localeconv()
はその構造体へ
のポインタを返す。構造体は、数値、
価格、日付と時刻の情報の地域の表記形式を記述す
るメンバを含む。詳細は、18章の
localeconv()
の記述を参照。

math.h
ヘッダ math.hは実浮動小数点数の数学関数と関連マクロと型を宣言する。
整数型の数学関数は stdlib.hで、複素数のはcomplex.hで宣言される。さらに、ヘッダ
tgmath.hが型総称マクロを定義して、引数型に関わらず同じ名前で数学関数を呼び出せる
ようにしている。標準ライブラリの数学関数のまとめは、「17.2数学関数」参照。
