It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 14. Foundation Protocols
This chapter covers the protocols of the Foundation framework. The Foundation framework provides a basic set of classes used in data management, application coordination, networking and interapplication communication, as well as interacting with core operating system services. Chapter 2 discussed many Foundation classes in depth; Chapter 6 discussed several of the Foundation classes related to networking.
