24.3 The Model
The multivariate multiple regression model is a generalization of the multiple
regress ion model in a matrix-variate setup. This model represents the relatio n-
ship between a set of values of s e veral response variables and a single set of
values of some explanatory or predictor variables. The multivariate model is
used to analyze data from different situations in economics as well as in many
other experimental circumstances to deal with a set of re gression equations.
