We continue the development of nodal analysis technique for circuits containing independent voltage sources in this section by taking up the case where an independent voltage source is connected in series with a resistor. This case can indeed be solved by the procedure developed in the previous section. However, there is a better way. We need the Source Transformation Theorem to understand this method.
