So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Baking for BeagleBone Black
In order to add this board support to our project, we need to include the meta-ti meta layer, which is the BSP layer with support for several TI boards, including the BeagleBone Black, but not limited to this. The meta layer can be accessed at http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/meta-ti.
To create the source structure, please run the following command lines:
$ mkdir sources$ cd sources$ git clone --branch rocko git://git.yoctoproject.org/poky$ git clone --branch rocko git://git.yoctoproject.org/meta-ti
The final directory structure you should have is shown in the following figure:
