I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Providing the source code
The most obvious way Poky can help us to provide the source code of every project used in our image is by sharing the DL_DIR content. However, this approach has one important pitfall: Any proprietary source code will be shared within DL_DIR if it is shared as is. In addition, this approach will share any source code, including parts that are not required by copyleft compliance.
Another way is to configure Poky to generate the set of source codes and decide what will be delivered. This may be done using the archiver class. This class copies the source code for each package under the build/tmp/deploy folder, separated by architecture (in our example, the present architectures are allarch-poky-linux, arm-poky-linux-gnueabi ...
