I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding extra files to the existing packages
If we need to include an extra configuration file, we should use FILESEXTRAPATHS, as explained in the previous example and shown in the following lines of code:

The do_install_append function appends the provided block below the metadata already available in the original do_install function. It includes the command needed to copy our new configuration file into the package's filesystem.
