Setting General Excel Options
You can customize the performance of many Excel features including its editing, saving, spelling, viewing, printing and security procedures. Each person uses Excel in a different way. Excel Options allows you to change general options to personalize what appears in the Excel window including live previews, toolbars, buttons, ScreenTips, and an Office background or theme (New!). When you change these options, Excel uses them for all subsequent Excel sessions until you change them.
Change General Options
Click the File tab, and then click Options.
In the left pane, click General.
