Setting Editing Options

If you spend a lot of time modifying worksheets, you can set editing options in Excel to customize the way you work. You can set options to specify the move direction after pressing Enter, allow editing directly in cells, use system number separators or ones you specify, automatically insert a decimal point, extend data range formats and formulas, or use AutoComplete or Flash Fill (New!).

Change Edit Options

Click the File tab, and then click Options.
