Most Visited and History Lists
When you go to your bookmarks, you find two more ways to browse sites that you’ve been to before—Most Visited and History. Your Galaxy Tab’s browser keeps track of sites you’ve visited, and puts these two lists together based on that. They’re great ways, in addition to Bookmarks, to head back to sites you’ve visited before without having to type—or even remember—the web addresses.
Note
The Most Visited and History lists don’t give you the option of viewing sites as thumbnails, only as lists.
To see the History list, tap the word “History” at the top of the Bookmarks screen. To see the Most Visited list, tap “Most visited” at the top of the History list. These lists work much like the Bookmarks list—tap the site you want to visit. Notice one difference between these lists and the Bookmarks list: The sites all have stars to the right of them, and the stars are either outlines
or all yellow
. A yellow star indicates that the site is on your Bookmarks list; a transparent one indicates it’s not. Tapping a transparent star adds that site to your bookmarks (and turns the star yellow). To remove a site from your Bookmarks list, tap a yellow star. It turns gray, and the site gets removed from your Bookmarks list.
The History list shows you not just sites you’ve visited ...
