Remember back when you had a text chat with an old friend about the birth of his second child? It’s time to send a birthday present, but you can’t quite recall the kid’s name—Jared, Jason, or John?
With Google Talk, you never have to worry about forgetting what was said in a text chat. Tap the Search button at the top of the screen, type in the text or person’s name and let Google Talk do its magic. It displays all the results it finds, sorted by date, and shows you the relevant section of the chat. It even shows you the time. You can also initiate a Chat session, send a reply by Gmail, or forward that part of the conversation to someone else. Just tap the appropriate button.
