Copying Text, Finding Text, Getting Page Information, and More

When you browse the Web, you may be on a mission of sorts—looking for a specific piece of information. You might be looking for a particular word or phrase within a web page, and you may even come across text on the Web that you want to use elsewhere, say in an email or a document.

Your Galaxy Tab’s browser can do all that and then some. To copy text, hold your finger down in a block of text. The text menu appears at the top of the page, and text selectors appear. In addition, you’ll see a magnifying glass that magnifies the text you selected. Drag them around the text you want to copy, and then tap Copy. It copies to your Tab’s clipboard, and the text menu disappears. Once the text is in the clipboard, you can insert it somewhere, and share it with others—anything you can normally do with copied text. If you want to copy all of the text on the page to the clipboard, instead of using the text selectors, tap “Select all” at the top of the page.
