I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Android support in Qt Creator
To use Qt Creator's embedded support, we have first to install several software packages, namely these:
- Java SE Development Kit—for the Java language
- Android SDK Tools—Android development toolkit
- Android NDK—support for native C development
- Android SDK Platform Tools—contains Android Debug Bridge (adb) for remote debugging on a device
After that, you have to create a so-called device definition for Android in Qt Creator by selecting Tools | Options | Devices | Android. There, you will have to insert the Java JDK, Android NDK, and SDK paths and choose your deployment and remote debugging options.
