I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Squish
We have chosen Squish because I have encountered it in a couple of real-world projects, and it seems to be rather widely-used. Although it is commercial, it is possible to request an evaluation licence (https://www.froglogic.com/squish/free-trial/) if you want to try it out.
That is what I did, and after I got an email with my evaluation licence key, I downloaded an installer from the home page (https://www.froglogic.com/squish/) and installed Squish on my machine.
The Squish version matching the Qt installation used in this book is
squish-6.4.2.1-qt59x-win32-mingw_gcc53_posix_dwarf.exe
