Using the Business Data Web Parts

Office SharePoint Server 2007 comes with a number of Business Data Web Parts that power users can use to connect to the BDC. Let’s use these to quickly test the work done on the application definition file instead of executing MethodInstance elements in the BDC Definition Editor as we did before.

The Business Data Web Parts can be used within any of your SharePoint sites where at the level of the site collection you have the Office SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection Features active.
