I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Save, load, and be merry
Whether the boss is coming, or the notebook is running out of batteries—there are reasons why users quit the game while it is running. In these cases, they typically did not intend to abandon the game. When they run it the next time, they expect their character to appear at the same spot where they left it, with all its equipment and points. Since every game is different, you have to implement custom code to save (persist) and load (restore) a game.
