Did you ever read the Mr Men books? Well, if so then Mr Jelly is the perfect personification for fear and anxiety – he was nervous about anything and everything. He jumped under the table when his cornflakes crackled, dived beneath the bed to hide from falling leaves and jumped into a tree when a twig snapped – staying there like a great quivering pink wreck shrieking ‘calamity!’ In fact, he can be very useful to visualise whenever you feel this particular guest knocking desperately at the door for you to let them in before catastrophe strikes.
