How to do it...

1. The landed cost feature can be activated by going to Configuration | Settings under the Inventory application:

Select the Include landed costs in product costing computation option for the Landed Cost field and click on the APPLY button to enable the feature.

2. Before we proceed with creating the landed cost, we require at least one Landed Costs product. The landed cost product can be created by going to Inventory | Configuration | Warehouse Management | Landed Cost Type.

Create a new product by clicking on the CREATE button. Enter the appropriate Name such as Domestic Carrier, set Product Type to Service, and Split Method ...
