It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Case study example: Replacing the application logo
The following example procedure explains how we can replace the Oracle logo in the upper-right corner of the Siebel CRM application window with our company logo. The logo graphic file must be 24 pixels in height to fit into the Siebel application banner frame. In the example, we use the file All_Hardware_Logo.png, which is available with this chapter's code files:
- Copy the
All_Hardware_Logo.pngfile to thepublic|enu|IMAGESdirectory of the Siebel Developer Web Client installation folder. - In Siebel Tools, expose the Bitmap Category object type in the Object Explorer if necessary.
- Navigate to the HTML Control Icons bitmap category.
- Check out or lock the bitmap category.
