I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I took my very first art class in sixth grade, and I don’t remember a single thing except this: plan the direction of your light source before you begin your drawing. Light is an essential part of seeing anything in the world. It is part of how our brains process the passage of time. Think about how we do that. How does looking out a window help us determine if it is time for a little treat, yet? It is the observation of light and shadow. That’s why time feels confusing on a cloudy or rainy day.
