16Drawing and Perspective
Understanding perspective in drawing is a classic Art 101 skill; one of the first things taught in every art class. It’s also my least favorite lesson, because I don’t like the persnickety feeling of a bunch of straight lines. That’s my ADHD talking though, because understanding perspective is so important and is honestly something I use every single day as an artist— even in the doodles I make on envelopes while I am on hold with the bank. (Just kidding, I don’t call people on the phone. But my point stands.) Perspective is artistic bread and butter that we all need to study and understand so we can level up our art and make really cool things.
