It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Reduction printing is really cool. It’s an intermediate carving concept that gets me excited every time I see it in action, and I couldn’t finish this book without introducing it to you. After you make it through all of these lessons, you are going to be on fire with creativity, and I want to lay this offering at your feet so that you can play.
Reduction printing is, by nature, a limited-edition print style. It requires planning and forethought, including ink types and colors (yes, this is not just black ink!), how many prints you plan to create, and how you will break your design down into layers.
