I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
8Composition: Framing Your Image
Carving stamps can be as simple as drawing a picture and carving it out, but what turns a simple object or design from a stamp into a tiny work of art is composition. Before I begin, I have to say that carving out an object to make a stamp is worthy and good, and awesome, and not at all lesser than what I am about to teach you. That said, creating a stamp with composition in mind can turn this silly little art medium from an embellishment into compelling, fine art. We can use this minimally sized surface to create artwork that draws the eye just as effectively as a large painting on canvas does.
