It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Post-project reviews of project decisions are important because they allow you to improve future decisions. However, these reviews can be influenced by a number of psychological biases. For example, management will often believe that project failures were more readily foreseeable than they actually were.
