つの数値にしたり、いろいろな方法がある。まずは、表にす
る方法から見ていこう。
平均値って、もともと凹凸のあるデータを平らに均して、凹凸を取り除
いたんだよね。
その凹凸情報がつまり「データのばらつき」なんだよ。

平均値
平均値は、データのばらつき情報を取り除いて、平らに均した値です。
「データのばらつき方」は別の方法で調べましょう。表にして調べるときは、「度数分布
表（どすうぶんぷひょう）」 を使います。
たくさんのデータを
1つずつ見ていくのではなく、いくつかの範囲に区切って見ていき
ます。この区切った範囲のことを「階級（かいきゅう）」 といいます。そして、区切った範
囲にデータがそれぞれ何個入っているかを数えます。この個数を「度数」といいます。こ
