Other
considerations
Quality plans should:
• indicate key quality records - what they are, how long they should be
kept, where, by whom, etc.;
• suggest how legal or regulatory requirements are to be satisfied;
• specify the form in which records should be kept (e.g. paper, microfilm,
disc);
• define liability, storage, retrievability, disposition and confidentiality
requirements;
• include the nature and extent of quality audits to be undertaken;
• indicate how the audit results are to used to correct and prevent recurrence
of deficiencies;
• show how the training of staff in new or revised operating methods is
