Chapter Eight. Enhancing Source Images
Once you have processed your raw source images in ACR (or have acquired stock images), the next step is to ready them for compositing using various retouching techniques. This chapter focuses on removing defects and distractions from your image and on making further enhancements to tone and color. Important topics covered include working with layers, handling smart objects, selecting and masking images, using the improved color and tonal correction tools in Adobe Photoshop CS4, managing perspective correction, using the Transform commands, and developing workflow efficiency.
