Abstract
Predicting car prices is one of the most highly researched areas of interest, as it requires considerable effort and knowledge. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a system that predicts car prices, which can effectively determine the worth of a car using a variety of features. In the existing system, the seller decides a price randomly and the buyer has no idea of the car’s current market value. In fact, the seller also has no idea of the car’s existing value or the price it should be sold at. To overcome this problem we have developed a model which will be highly effective. We have examined the attributes to automate the process of determining a second-hand car’s price. The model aims at reducing car price fraud by applying the machine learning technique. Our model is able to predict the price of a used car based on previous consumer data and a given set of features. It consists of 4000 tuples of test data which are obtained by the preprocessing technique. In this study, a collective ...
