Abstract

The internet of things (IoT) is the most in-demand technology in the current world of automatic electronic equipment. IoT sensors play an essential role in recent artificial intelligence (AI)-based automation systems [3]. In this chapter, we are proposing an IoT-based module which will control the electronic devices through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, for which we are proposing a prototype design module. To explore this mechanism, we will use sensors and equipment mounted on a single board along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth sensor. Also, we will develop a code in Python to make smart decisions based on data received from sensors and further control the electronic devices. Finally, we will discuss and explain the step-by-step procedure for implementing a sample IoT application.

12.1 Introduction

In this chapter, we are proposing a customized Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communication development board and its components mounted on a board in order to demonstrate the functioning of some of the sensors like ultrasonic, LED section, 16 × 2 LCD section, and AC appliance sensors, along with relevant ...
