Hour 9. Databases and XML
In the previous hours, you learned how the data in an XML file can be defined and how the contents of those files can be read. Such background material is always essential, but the important thing about XML is its capability to describe data and execute database operations. Accordingly, this hour will demonstrate how XML can be used to define, manipulate, and present the data in databases. This process will continue in many different forms all the way to Hour 22.
