Like the selectSingleNode() method, the end() method will also return a single node. However, in this case, the only selection criterion is that the node must be the last one in the list at the given level. Once again, since the method returns a single node, the methods used to traverse a node list cannot be used on it.
Go back to the HTML file used in the previous example and modify the line that selects the nodes to match the following:
var NodeData=
DataSource1.selectSingleNode("Catalog[end()]");
The output is all of the data in the <Catalog> database.
