There is little doubt that the ability to hyperlink is the single most significant driving force behind the popularity of the World Wide Web. Although the XML extension known as XLink hasn't been implemented yet, it promises to make hyperlinking even better. By allowing for more flexibility and description, the XLink notation lets you associate multiple XML files with a link, making all necessary resources available.
