When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Complying with the right to be forgotten
One of the most controversial rules introduced by the GDPR is the right to be forgotten. Pursuant to Article 17, data subjects must be granted the right to obtain the erasure of their personal data from the data controller.
The request for the erasure of personal data must be fulfilled promptly and without delay by the data controller in the following cases:
- The personal data is no longer necessary to achieve the original purposes.
- The data subjects withdraw their consent to data processing, according to Article 6 or Article 9.
- The personal data has been unlawfully processed by the data controller.
Furthermore, the data controller may be required to delete personal data as a result of a legal obligation. ...
