I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Erasing illicit data from the blockchain
As we said in the Storing illicit data in the blockchain section, the presence of illegal data within the blockchain also exposes the user who downloads a local copy of the transactions to their machine to criminal liability. Having the possibility to delete such illegal data is, therefore, a legitimate feature request, which would help users eliminate unwanted data, at least from the local copy they downloaded on their machines. How is it possible to reconcile this data deletion request with the requirement of the ledger's immutability, prescribed and respected by the blockchain?
A simple and direct method to globally delete the data previously entered within the blockchain is to make a hard fork. ...
