I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Permissioned blockchains access rights
Blockchains models can, therefore, be distinguished based on the privileges associated with members.
In general, participants in a blockchain can do the following:
- Access data and transactions (read access),
- Enter their own transactions (write access),
- Update the status of the blockchain by creating new blocks (update access),
Based on these access rights, it is possible to distinguish the different blockchains models as follows:
- Permissionless (public) blockchains: Any members of the network can perform read, write, and update operations without restrictions.
- Permissioned (private) blockchains: Read, write, and update operations are allowed and assigned only to certain members of the network, based ...
