The first week is just a warm up. You’re just getting started now, and the results will be coming in intermittently, but with increasing frequency. It’s an exciting time.
At this point, the affiliate team ought to start looking at which of your banners, buttons, and text links are performing. The same goes for the competition. If they are getting better clicks and conversions than you, figure out why and adapt your program. It is also important to continually participate in the discussion boards. Affiliates may start posting questions about your program, so be there to answer them before an uninformed person posts incorrect or inflammatory information about your program.
