Abstract
Federated learning (FL), artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things(IoT), and robotic surgery are the loudest sound device of contemporary medicine—the F-Ramed—that has the potential to raise operation security, efficiency, and precision. This chapter conveys how these technologies can transform smart healthcare systems, with emphasis on their utilities in robotically assisted surgery, remote patient monitoring, and diagnostics. While FL guarantees secure and decentralized machine learning, safeguarding patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance, AI-driven IoT aids real-time data gathering and processing, underpinning predictive healthcare solutions. Other topics covered are the advent of telesurgery and telemedicine, solutions suggested to guard data, and processes by which IoT enables intelligent technology in healthcare. Aside from discussion of barriers to mass acceptance of federated-learning-based robots and AI-powered IoT, the author also discusses concerns that related matters raise-about an integrated FL strategy coupled with blockchain protection ...
