This chapter delves into the underlying technology of wearable devices, their healthcare applications, design and development considerations, as well as data analysis and interpretation. It also addresses ethical and legal issues, along with future prospects and opportunities. The chapter further examines the challenges and potential of wearable devices in transforming healthcare practices.
