Abstract
The advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) plays a vital role in medical domain. It mainly creates an alert to individuals based on the patient’s intelligence system. This intelligence system creates a lot of practical challenges in terms of infrastructure and security aspects. Therefore, in this paper, we investigate the challenges and opportunities posed by the integration of IoT technology within the medical domain. It explores key concerns like privacy, security, interoperability, and compliance associated with regulatory for the deployment of IoT solutions in the healthcare. This paper also examines various communication models, including device-to-device and device-to-cloud architectures, highlighting security measures that are essential for safeguarding sensitive patient data and ensuring seamless data exchange among diverse medical devices.
