Abstract
Increased digitization of the health sector has yielded unparalleled availability and efficiency of the provision of medical services. The sector has also been exposed to unparalleled cybersecurity risks. The application of artificial intelligence threat intelligence has yielded a disruptive solution that has helped safeguard the healthcare framework against sophisticated cyberattacks. This chapter expounds on how AI enhances cybersecurity in the healthcare sector through the application of predictive analytics, threat detection of anomalies, and real-time threat management. We survey cutting-edge innovations, such as AI-enhanced SOC models, federated models of learning, and threat-hunting automation models. We also present proposed future directions of study that prioritize the countering of future cybervaunts and perils. Our proposals place a premium on interoperability enhancement, improvement of AI management, and tighter fusion with block chain technologies.
