Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing various fields of medicine, including orthopedics and neurosurgery. AI-driven advancements in machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) are enhancing diagnostic accuracy, surgical planning, prognosis, and patient outcomes. In orthopedics, AI is applied in fracture and tumor detection, predictive modeling for patient outcomes, and rehabilitation monitoring. Additionally, AI-powered virtual and augmented reality tools are being explored for surgical training and intraoperative guidance. Similarly, in neurosurgery, AI aids in preoperative assessment, intraoperative decision making, and postoperative care, improving precision and efficiency. The integration of AI in neurosurgery supports clinical decision making, optimizes data management, and reduces healthcare costs while enhancing patient care. Despite its potential, AI in both fields requires rigorous validation to ensure reliability and minimize errors. The collaboration between AI and healthcare professionals is essential to maximize its benefits while addressing ethical and practical ...
