It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Deploying Software to OS X, Linux, and UNIX Platforms
Most organizations use non-Windows platforms; these must be supported using a device management solution. To support mobile devices running these operating systems, ConfigMgr uses the Windows Intune connector and manages the devices through Windows Intune; for in-company devices, ConfigMgr can also support OS X, Linux, and UNIX flavors. The next sections describe how to create applications for Apple OS X, and how to use ConfigMgr packages and programs functionality to install software on Linux and UNIX devices.
